Thanks to everyone who came out to support One Story on May 21st. Our first benefit hosted 450 people at the The Old American Can Factory in Gowanus, Brooklyn. The night featured comedian John Hodgman, original art inspired by issues of One Story, a performance based on Sam Allingham’s “Bar Joke, Arizona” by Wingspace Theatrical Design, and nine writers who published their first fiction in the magazine, all escorted by established authors who have been mentors to them.
