I spent yesterday with the Brooklyn Babes Bookclub, located in Dyker Heights. Their club has been going since 1997, and their meeting (hosted by Joann) included some amazing food, lots of laughs, and conversation about The Good Thief. Their president, Lisa, started the club after having her first child, and they’ve read all kinds of books–from Stendhal to Steinbeck. Thanks for hosting me, ladies!
